This year's Florida United Numismatists (FUN) show in Orlando, Florida started off with a bang at the Misterbanknote.com booth, where some of the amazing new polymer issues of the Reed Banknote Co., Sarasota, were revealed. On hand for the festivities was the Princess of Marie Byrd Land, HRH Christine Marie the First, her husband the Prince and Royal Exchequer R. J. Reed, also Robert Bird of Robert's World Money and Court Jester of Marie Byrd Land, and Tom and Summer Stebbins of Applied Currency Concepts, who released their beautiful new special edition FUN Florida state banknote (also in polymer). A combined effort between Reed Banknote Chief Designer R. J. Reed and Applied Currency Chief Designer Tom Stebbins made these new issues possible. Most feature security holograms and other features such as UV reactive printing, and foil seals, microtext, and omeron rings on some issues. We will add in more pictures of the new notes and a few more from the show too.

TREASURER RIOS SIGNS HIGH DENOMINATION REED BANKNOTE AT FUN 2015!

Another highlight of this year's Florida United Numismatists (FUN) show in Orlando, Florida was the signing of a U. S. $1,000,000 Reed fantasy art banknote by Treasurer of the United States Rosa "Rosie" Rios in a ceremony with Marie Byrd Land Princess Christine Marie. The Treasurer also signed one of the FUN special notes designed by Tom Stebbins in a limited edition of 999 pieces.

NEW CAPE COD CANAL 100-YEAR COMMEMORATIVE RELEASED BY REED BANKNOTE!

No collection of Cape Cod artifacts is complete without this spectacular, limited edition, full-color fantasy note celebrating the centennial of the opening of the Cape Code Canal in 1914! This neat-looking commemorative piece, approximately 6 3/4" long x 3 1/4" high), is one of the latest creations from the Reed Banknote Co., Sarasota! This is a piece of banknote art and not an actual banknote and was designed by graphic artist R. J. Reed and is handsigned by the artist. It features an early view (1917 or earlier) of a tugboat pulling barges down the newly-constructed canal, from an old postcard. The back features a sunset view of the Bourne and railroad bridges, flanked by a scallop and a cod. The dual dates JULY 29, 1914 and JULY 29, 2014 flank the ONE HUNDRED YEARS anniversary title. Each note carries a unique serial number beginning with the special 4C prefix, which stands for Cape Cod Canal Centennial. There were six notes with each number printed, except for a unique suffix letter (A, B, C, D, E, or F). This is your chance to get a very scarce and sought-after collectible of the Cape Cod Canal.
