No
collection of
beautiful Mexican bancos notes is complete without this awesome set of neat-looking,
full-color
fantasy art notes purporting to be from the old bancos of Mexico!
Actually, there is in truth no
complete
collection of all the old bancos notes but your's will certainly be
enhanced by these
spectacular pretend
pieces!
These neat-looking bills, measuring larger than a dollar bill
and about the size of an average genuine "Bancos" note, represent all
of the Mexican fantasy art note creations from
FAN-T-C-GRAFIX to date! These
are pieces of banknote art and not actual
banknotes. Éstos son pedazos de
arte del billete de banco y de billetes de
banco no reales. You'll get twelve (12), one full
dozen, of these great-looking pieces for one low price!
There will be one fantasy of a Mexican Revolution note, the 100 pesos
"dos caritas" El Estado de Chihuahua art note, plus eleven fantasies of
"bancos" as follows: Banco de Campeche 500 pesos, Banco de Chiapas 50
pesos, Banco de Hidalgo 1000 pesos, Banco de Michoacan 1 peso, Banco de
Oaxaca 500 and 1000 pesos,
Banco de Sonora 1, 500, and
1000 pesos, and Banco de Tabasco 1 peso! WOW! None of these bills even exists and
if any were found, they would be worth a fortune to collectors of these
beautiful old bills! These
professionally laser-printed fantasies look real, are great for display or
resale, and won't cost you much (and you
won't have to worry about them getting stolen!). The notes are
printed in color on one side and feature replicas of actual vignettes
(or derivations of actual vignettes) from old banknotes and stock/bond
certificates. The
back of each bill tells a bit about each bill (such as the following -
from the Banco de Chiapas 50 peso fantasy):
FANTASY
NOTE – FOR DISPLAY OR PROP USE
ARTISTIC CREATION - NOT A GENUINE BANKNOTE Genuine notes denominated in pesos from El Banco de Chiapas (Mexico) were produced for only a few short years (1902-09) and consequently today the notes from this series are all extremely rare and are highly desired by collectors. No genuine 50 peso notes from this bank of any design are known to exist today; the largest denomination discovered is the 20 peso bill. This is just a graphic artist's representation of what a 50 peso note from Chiapas could have looked like had one been prepared. Copyright 2007 FAN-T-C GRAFIX You
can see that these bills are totally in compliance with the Hobby
Protection
Act, so that unscrupulous individuals can't try to sell them as
genuine. The notes are printed on an ivory-colored paper. Great for display
in
your shop, coin show, or flea market booth, den, or
use as eye-catching props in your next production! These
notes will be shipped in a clear, see-through holder in a
cardboard-reinforced envelope. Again, these notes are not genuine
issues of Mexico, just neat artistic creations! Una
vez más estas notas no son aplicaciones genuinas
México! Take
this special set now for just $36.00!
